I was standing in the kitchen. Started with a little shake then gradually got rolling pretty good.stayef standing by holding on to the counter and Island. I was about to kneel down when it started easing up. Several standng bottles fell over . Drawers opened. 2/3 of the coffee sloshed out. Nothing broke. No cracks noted.

Right when i recieved that warning on my cell phone i felt the effects of the quake, i was in my camper trailer having lunch (we are remodeling our kitchen in the house) and everything was shaking, trees were swaying our truck was visibly rocking, the horses were freaking out, they ran out of the bard and were snorting and doing hot laps.

We just felt an earthquake in Redding California. It shook our bed back & forth for a good 30 seconds. It was about 20 minutes ago. It's now 12:35 pm and the news is saying it was a 5.8 magnitude off the coast of Petrolia. 144 miles away from where we are and we felt it pretty good.

Barricaded under a doorway per earthquake alert warning nothing felt nothing and I'm usually sensitive enough to feel 2.0 mag nearby so unsure about it but now with it having happened will feel safe leaving the doorway. Warning aftershocks are common expect a few more
