We were woken up around 3:15 am by low hum outside and fast clatter on a nearby window. We thought it’s a hurricane (so we need to just close the shutters and go back to sleep), but then we felt a weird vibration and realized that everything was moving in smooth but strong circular motions, back and forth, almost like on a ship at sea. Doors shook in their jambs and all the glass surfaces were trembling, but, thankfully, nothing fell nor was destroyed. It went for 4-5 minutes, thenit was calm for a couple of minutes. After that there was a second shorter wave, but it felt weaker. We didn’t feel the third wave at all, only heard the loud hum from the ground few minutes later.few minutes later.
