Heard the sound first thinking it was thunder- then the sharp shake. Being from CA knew what it was! We live about 7 miles North of Chino Valley AZ.

We felt a sudden jolt and the house shook. We live on Lynx Creek below the Lynx Lake dam so it was a bit concerning. It also got windy at the same time we felt the earthquake, so thought it might have been a very strong gust of wind.
