Embarrassed to admit this but I provide this information for the sake of science. I was sitting on the toilet and felt a slight vibration. It grew until there was quite a bit of shaking. My husband said I felt a vibration before feeling the shaking because I was sitting on a structure that has the plumbing below in the ground. So I felt the approaching earthquake before he did. And I thought I just had a sensitive arse!
