My Dog (a Husky) did noticed it and reacted quite strongly.  He was lay down on the veranda and then he got up sniffing all over the veranda and then freaked out as the rumble started.  My wife felt it.  I was next door and my neighbor heard and felt it.  To me something did not feel right but I did not put things together until my neighbor said something.

Lasted a couple of seconds and I felt the house move a couple of times in a direction parallel to the sea (east west).
