our residence building is comparatively new (built on 2011) so though we live on 10th floor we just realised about the earthquake feeling some light shaking (i was lying on the carpet). And our long plant just confirmed our fears. In 10-15 sec it stopped and we realised it watching at our plant. [as were rushing to dress up etc]. But some of my friends texted me that they felt a strong shaking. So it depends in what type of building you reside. Anyway, unlike Japanese, not got used to this event...

We were already in bed, on the 4th floor of 9 storied building. Earthquake started unexpectedly, at first I thought that it was my imagination, then realized that chandeliers' started shaking, there were two waves, the last wave was around 15 sec long. Sadly, no news on earthquake on tv, only friends comments on FB.
