I wast fast asleep and I noticed I wanted the room to stop shaking in my dream. I woke up and realised the bed, the door and all the rest of it was shaking. Took me a while to understand it was an earthquake. The first one I have really felt.

Was pleased to read that others in Kuta felt this movement as I may have been tempted to think that I was dreaming! A little scary because I was on 3rd floor ( of 3 ) in hotel.
Much less intense movement than 1989 Newcastle (Australia) earthquake, but still a worry in the volatile Indonesian geo-environment
