Hello, about 54 minutes ago I felt a quake in my city of Bogota, Colombia. I am in a residential building and everything started to shake. My animals got scares and my parrot decided to make a run for it and almost made it out the balcony. No damage was done however. I then saw that there was a 6.2 Earthquake close to my city. Was the quake felt in my area a result of that earthquake? Thank you for your time.

C était mon premier séisme. J'étais devant mon ordi en train de travailler lorsque j ai senti que ma tête tournait. A peine ai je réalisé que c'était un séisme que cela s'est arrêté pendant une seconde avant de recommencer mais bcp plus fort. A ce moment là je me suis mis sous mon bureau. J'ai eu l'impression que l'immeuble faisait des mouvements de grand cercle mais également que le cadre de la porte se déformait. La "deuxième" secousse m'a paru assez longue. Il n'y a eu aucun dégât dans l'immeuble. Je me trouvais à Bogotá.
