It woke me from a sound sleep. The bed was shaking back and forth pretty hard. Painting behind me was rattling loud. Lasted at least 10 seconds. We have a crack in our chimney (1950 house). And a boat on blocks outside fell off them.

We were standing in the kitchen and I felt a weird sensation and my dish collection rattled.  I've never felt an earthquake before and at first I thought it was just a extremely strong windstorm but knew that couldn't shake my dishes.  My daughter was asleep upstairs and she said it shook her bed and woke her up.  I've lived in Oregon my entire life and don't recall ever feeling an earthquake before.
