At first the whole house (wooden structure) started shaking and I suddenly rose up from sleeping as it was 2.45 AM on 21-12-2015, then it stopped we came out of the house for a while till the vibrations disappear. Awaken from my sleep at the top floor of a four story walkup apartment and thought the roof top water tank had ruptured and caused the shaking to the building.  But the shaking felt like the earth had shifted and cause massive swaying of the apartment block.
